All Our Children Meow and Woof
I created this blog to sort through my emotions as Finnegan, a great Irish Wolfhound, fought bone cancer for nearly 26 months. Fortunately, his battle subsided for many months and during the course of the 26 months, I shared stories about his feline siblings. On August 8, 2008, Finny passed on in my husband's and my arms. He fought the good fight and he will always have a special place in my heart. *If you have a question, please write me at finnegandog at gmail dot com.*

Blogging Help!
Does anyone know how to move posts and archives from one blog to another? I have an old blog that is merging with this one and I want to put all the posts from the old blog onto this one.
Please read the description under the title of the blog to find out what is going on here!
Oh, and I promise, promise, promise, the emphasis of this blog will still be on the Big and Mighty Finnegan!

Snow Snow Snow Snow Snow
After two months of not much snow, we are getting a TON of snow. Although I just ran across my yard in the deep snow to visit my neighbor , it is not conducive for filming and romping around with my toys. As such, I must postpone the Finnegan Film Festival until the weather improves a little. For now, I will lounge with Mummy and Daddy in my warm house and catch up on some snoozing. Zzzzz.........

Paparazzi
Since posting my video, the paparazzi has been beating down my door requesting photographs and interviews. Really, it is becoming tedious. My schedule is busy now meeting with agents, public relations, and stylists. I simply cannot be interviewed by both Doggertainment Tonight and Access Doggywood on the same night. I have a photo shoot with Dogsquire magazine and then I will meet with Matt Lauer on the Today Show for an interview next week. Honestly, I would prefer Meredith Vieira or Ann Curry.

Please forgive my mummy's voice and the jerky filming. Mummy's learning...

Cool Website, Good Cause
Red Carpet Event
Mummy's new camera came yesterday! That means once she gets a bigger memory card, she will make a movie with me and post it here for everyone's viewing pleasure! I would guess the movie will be online by Sunday. Further details to come!

Coming to a Theatre Near You!
Okay, maybe not in theatres but on this blog. Mummy is getting a fancy new camera and she plans on recording me in action. Running, romping, playing with my toys!
Perhaps I should make a poster for my movie and have a press conference! I could invite Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood to interview me. I would have to worry about the paparazzi following me around and taking my picture. I don't want to pull a Britney Spears while I exit my limo. Oh wait, I don't wear underwear. Never mind!
As soon as Mummy records me in action, I will put the footage here!

You Are Correct!
Despite being in Salt Lake City, the Guinness can was still a winner and I received many cheers at the parade. The last time I went to a parade in my new hometown, I had many people ask to have their picture taken with me. What am I, a freak show? Ok, I suppose I am. This year if we go, I plan on charging them a small fee to go towards the "Finnegan Needs a Damn Leg" fund. Woof woof!

Hint
You can click on the picture to make it larger if it helps. I am wearing an important "rescue" device around my neck which is appropriate for my breed's nationality (instead of a barrel around a St. Bernard's neck).

Dressing Up
I like to show off my eccentric side sometimes. Actually, it was Halloween and I did have some antennas on but since my duckie toy was nearby, she thought it would make a good hat. Mummy does not dress me up the other 364 days in the year so don't worry! Unless, of course, you count bandannas I get at the groomers! Also, she does not normally put pasta on my head either like Chuckles! He is too patient, I would have eaten the pasta...
Today is cold and rainy. And muddy. *Sigh*

Breeze Update
Breeze's mum said that she had a clean CT scan yesterday and the veterinarian performed the surgery. So far, I think she is okay.
Think good doggy thoughts for a speedy recovery!!!

This Dog Needs a Nanny!
I apologize for the lack of posts but Mummy left me without my computer. How rude. While Mummy and Daddy visited family for the holidays, the kitties and I were left with a petsitter. Normally, I am sad when Mummy and Daddy leave for vacation. Mummy said to say she is also sad when she leaves us and would take us with her except stupid fake mother-in-law does not like dogs. Jerk. I send dogbursts in her general direction.
This time was no exception, I did miss Mummy and Daddy. HOWEVER, I did have fun. My "petsitter" who I like to refer to as my nanny visited us at least three times per day and her small humans (children?) played with the kitties and me. One of the mini-humans had the most bestest idea ever: take ME for a walk!!!! It was so much fun to walk with a new person! Even though Mummy takes me for a walk almost every day now, she becomes so boring. She always wants to go in the same direction. *Yawn* Nanny and mini-humans walked a different path and I sniffed so many fantastic smells. Ahhhhhhh....
Mummy and Daddy returned with gifts and hugs. I slept with my head in Mummy's lap last night while she and Daddy watched TV. I love having them back. AND, they brought back gifts to give me. My favorite is the squeaky bear that Daisy slobbered all over before wrapping. I love toys used by other dogs.
My life is back to normal with Mummy and Daddy having returned and giving me lots o' love and attention. And by the way, because I am doing fairly well, I might let the kitty siblings write on this bloggy once in a while because they are very opinionated.
Happy New Year!! Whatever that means!
