All Our Children Meow and Woof

I created this blog to sort through my emotions as Finnegan, a great Irish Wolfhound, fought bone cancer for nearly 26 months. Fortunately, his battle subsided for many months and during the course of the 26 months, I shared stories about his feline siblings. On August 8, 2008, Finny passed on in my husband's and my arms. Breeze Update

Breeze's mum said that she had a clean CT scan yesterday and the veterinarian performed the surgery. So far, I think she is okay.

Another Wolfhound with Cancer

Yesterday, Mummy learned that there is another Irish Wolfhound who might face the same fight as me. Over at Handicapped Pets, a woman wrote in a discussion thread about her five year old Irish Wolfhound who might have her front leg amputated because of stupid stupid bone cancer. Grrrr. Her veterinarian will do a body scan to see if the cancer has spread. I hope it has not metastasized and she will do okay.
