All Our Children Meow and Woof

I created this blog to sort through my emotions as Finnegan, a great Irish Wolfhound, fought bone cancer for nearly 26 months. Fortunately, his battle subsided for many months and during the course of the 26 months, I shared stories about his feline siblings. On August 8, 2008, Finny passed on in my husband's and my arms. He fought the good fight and he will always have a special place in my heart. *If you have a question, please write me at finnegandog at gmail dot com.*

More from Jerry and Finnegan

Jerry's parents are much more Internet and blogger savvy than my mama. That is a fact. Period. They have provided a video of Jerry and me on their website. You can go here on YouTube to see it. Please make sure you have your volume on. I'll warn you, it's a tear-jerker.

Also, you can look here on Jerry's blog for a post about our visit together. And again, he and his folks are really great. We will remember their visit forever.

Your video made my ma ape leak from her eyes! We loved it, particularly when you pee and you have such a cool way of scratching the top of your head. It's really amazing how mobile Jerry is, eh? We dogs are so cool.

Now that made The Woman cry big time, but mostly they were tears of gratitude. She was thinking how lucky these two doogs are to have such loving people, and how lucky those people are to have them.
